Overcoming drug addiction, I escaped with only 2 health problems…constant trouble breathing, and irregular heartbeat/heart flutters. This is a SMALL consequential price to pay compared to the price I should have paid: Death. Before I find a doctor to help me with my breathing issues, I decided to do some research on the side effects of abusing Welbutrin, which I had already believe to be the main source of my breathing problems. Apparently, I was right! If any of you are reading this and currently taking Welbutrin, NEVER abuse it! The side effects an withdrawal effects were comparable to hell, in my opinion. It is extremely dangerous and risky! Anyway, when I looked into the side effects, I did find that the reason of my heart and breathing problems most likely came from Welbutrin, but the other things I found out were a HUGE reality check. The highest amount of Welbutrin you are legally allowed to consume is 450mg, and even that ha a high risk rate. I was consuming 900+mg at a time, multiple times per day, and that wasn’t even oral consumption! According to different health sites, anyone consuming over 450 mg per day has the risk of immediate death or, at the least, severe cerebral damage! The fact that I survived that, on top of all of the other drugs I was using, is a miracle in itself! PRAISE GOD for saving me from my addiction, and from death! This is just a reminder to me of how great His plan must be for me that He needed me to stay alive! God is so good and no matter what the world says, His ways are higher and HE has the power!! Because of what He has done to save me and turn my life around, I KNOW He can save anyone! If you or anyone you know is struggling with a drug addiction, you can comment on this post and I can email you a list of resources so you can get the help you deserve! I couldn’t save myself and rehab couldn’t save me…but God can use rehab as a huge tool in His plan! Praise God for His goodness and mercy! His grace is abounding. He gives us more than we deserve…every day.
I praise God he protected you and saved you from what should have surely been death. It is beyond joy having you back, whole, holy and sanctified!!! I love you!!!
